This privacy policy covers this marketing website (www.raise-room.com). Processing of your data within the RaiseRoom application is governed by a separate privacy policy (see section 5).
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). Server-side compute and content delivery run in Vercel's EU region (Frankfurt, Germany / fra1). When you visit, server log data is automatically collected (IP address, timestamp, page accessed, browser, operating system). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Transfer safeguards: Vercel Inc. (USA) participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and provides Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
4. Data Location & EU Hosting
Your account and fundraising data inside the RaiseRoom application are stored on servers within the European Union (Ireland). This marketing website itself is delivered from Vercel's EU region (Frankfurt, Germany / fra1); Vercel Inc. is US-based and operates under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework plus Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). The website does not store your fundraising data.
5. Demo Booking (HubSpot)
When you book a demo call through the booking form on this website (first name, last name, work email, company, and an optional indication of your raise timeline), we transmit this data server-side to HubSpot (HubSpot, Inc., 2 Canal Park, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA; processed via HubSpot's EU data centre) to create the calendar booking and manage our contact with you (CRM). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract, taken at your request). HubSpot is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers are additionally covered by Standard Contractual Clauses. We also store the booking details (name, email, company, raise timeline, appointment time) in our own database hosted with Supabase (EU region). Data is retained for as long as needed to manage our business relationship; you can request deletion at any time (see Your Rights below).
6. Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address together with technical metadata (IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention, referrer and UTM parameters) in our database hosted with Supabase (EU region), and send you a confirmation email via Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany). Your subscription only becomes active after you confirm it (double opt-in). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email; the IP address is stored to document your consent and prevent abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
7. RaiseRoom Application
The "Request Beta Access" buttons link to our application at app.raise-room.com. Account creation, authentication, and all processing of your data within the application are governed by the separate privacy policy provided inside the application.
8. Fonts
This website uses self-hosted fonts (via Next.js Font Optimization). No connection to external servers (e.g., Google) is made.
9. Error Tracking (Sentry)
We use Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) to detect and resolve technical errors. Anonymized error reports are collected (error message, browser, operating system, URL). No personal data such as names or email addresses is intentionally collected. Data is transmitted via a server-side tunnel. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in maintaining technical reliability).
10. Consent Management (consentmanager)
This website uses consentmanager (consentmanager AB, Hälsingegatan 49, 113 31 Stockholm, Sweden) to manage your cookie consent preferences. consentmanager stores your consent status in a technically necessary cookie. 11. Web Analytics (Vercel Analytics)
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA) to analyze website usage and load times. Vercel Analytics operates without cookies and does not collect personal data. Only aggregated usage data is collected (page views, countries of origin, load times). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in optimizing the website). Vercel participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
12. Web Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to analyze user behavior. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects page views, interactions, and technical device data. Data may be transmitted to Google servers (including in the USA). Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent via consentmanager). You may withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner or use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
13. User Experience Analytics (Microsoft Clarity)
We use Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland) to analyze user experience. Clarity creates heatmaps and session recordings to understand how visitors use the website. Personal data (e.g., text inputs) is automatically masked. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent via consentmanager). You may withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner.
14. Contact via Email
When you contact us via email, the data you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR.
15. Contact Form
If you use the contact form at raise-room.com/kontakt, we process the name, email address and message you enter, solely to answer your enquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract or its initiation, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries addressed to us). Storage: The message is forwarded to our mailbox and is not stored in a separate database. It remains in the mailbox as long as the enquiry requires, and is then deleted unless statutory retention periods apply. Processor: Delivery runs through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), see section 6.
16. Investor Data
For the RaiseRoom investor database we process professional information about individuals working at capital providers, in particular name, role and affiliation with the respective fund. For this processing we are the controller.
Source: The information originates from publicly accessible sources, in particular the websites of the funds, public registers and professional networks. It is not collected from the data subjects themselves.
Purpose: We provide our customers, mostly founders running a financing round, with an overview of suitable capital providers and the relevant contacts there.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in operating this overview. The processing concerns the professional sphere only and corresponds to the expectation attached to a publicly stated role as a capital provider.
Storage period: As long as the entry is necessary for the stated purpose, at the latest until you object or until we learn that you are no longer working for that fund.
Your rights: You may object to this processing at any time under Art. 21(1) GDPR. We will then remove your details from the database without you having to state reasons. You may equally request access, rectification or erasure. An informal message to info@raise-room.com is sufficient.

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and the right to object (Art. 21).
